Privacy Policy for Sudoku Solver
1 Overview & Commitment
This Privacy Policy describes how Orion Tech ("we", "us", or "our") handles personal data and privacy rights when you download, access, or use our mobile application Sudoku Solver (the "Service" or "App").
We are dedicated to maintaining the trust of our users and protecting your privacy. This policy is designed to comply with Google Play Console developer policies, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and other international data privacy regulations.
Sudoku Solver is a single-player, offline puzzle game designed for all ages, including children, that allows you to play and solve Sudoku puzzles at various difficulty levels. The App is part of the Google Play Designed for Families program and does not require user registration or an account to use.
2 Information Collection and Use
To provide the App's core functionality and to support it through advertising, we collect specific types of information. This includes technical data collected automatically when using the App:
- Device & Identifiers Data: Device model, manufacturer, operating system version, unique device identifiers (such as Android ID or Advertising ID / IDFA), screen resolution, and app version/build number. This data is collected via the
react-native-device-info library and through our advertising partner (Google AdMob).
- Network Information: Network connectivity status (Wi-Fi or cellular) and general connection type, used to determine ad-serving availability.
- Advertising Data: Google AdMob, our advertising partner, may collect or receive device identifiers, IP address, general location data (derived from IP), interaction data with advertisements (views, clicks), and ad performance metrics. This data is used to serve, measure, and improve advertisements displayed within the App.
- Technical Log Data: When an error or crash occurs, automated log reports may be generated containing device information, timestamps, app version, and crash diagnostic data.
💡 What We Do NOT Collect
Sudoku Solver does not collect your name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts, precise location, or any other personally identifiable information. No user account or login is required. All game progress, puzzle states, and difficulty preferences are processed and stored exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to any server.
3 How We Use Collected Data
We use the collected information for the following specific purposes:
- Core App Functionality: Generating Sudoku puzzles at your selected difficulty level (easy, medium, hard), providing auto-solve functionality, and validating puzzle solutions — all processed locally on your device.
- Advertising: Displaying banner advertisements via Google AdMob to support the free availability of the App. Ad-related data is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy.
- In-App Updates: Checking for and facilitating seamless app updates through the Google Play In-App Update API on Android devices to ensure you always have the latest version.
- Performance & Stability: Monitoring app stability, identifying crash patterns, and patching software bugs to improve user experience.
- App Version Display: Reading device information to display the current app version and build number within the App.
4 Advertising & Ad Partners
Sudoku Solver is a free, ad-supported application. We use Google AdMob to display banner advertisements within the App. This is an important disclosure as our advertising partner independently collects and processes certain data:
👨👩👧👦 Families Policy — Child-Safe Advertising
As part of the Google Play Designed for Families program, this App strictly complies with Google's Families Policy for ad content:
- Non-Personalized Ads Only: The App is configured to request only non-personalized advertisements. We do NOT serve personalized or interest-based ads. No user profiling or behavioral tracking is performed for advertising purposes.
- Child-Directed Treatment: All ad requests include the
tagForChildDirectedTreatment flag set to true, instructing Google to treat all requests as coming from child-directed content under COPPA.
- Max Ad Content Rating: G (General Audiences): Ads served within the App are restricted to the G (General Audiences) content rating, ensuring all advertisements displayed are appropriate for children of all ages.
- Google Certified Ad SDK: We exclusively use Google AdMob, which is a Google-certified ad SDK approved for use in Families apps. No other ad networks or mediation partners are used.
- Google AdMob may collect limited device identifiers and IP address solely for the purpose of serving non-personalized ads, performing ad measurement, preventing fraud, and complying with legal obligations.
- The App includes SKAdNetwork identifiers for privacy-preserving ad attribution on iOS, in compliance with Apple's privacy framework.
5 Third-Party Services & Links
The App integrates the following third-party services. Each service may independently collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies:
If external links are presented within the App or advertisements, clicking them will direct you to third-party websites. We strongly recommend reviewing the privacy statement of any external site you visit, as we do not exercise control over third-party practices.
6 Data Retention Policy
We retain collected personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law:
- Local App Data: All game data (puzzle states, difficulty preferences, game progress) is stored exclusively on your device and persists until you clear the app data or uninstall the App. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
- Advertising Data: Data collected by Google AdMob is retained and managed by Google according to their data retention policies. We do not independently store advertising-related data on our own servers.
- Support Correspondence: Emails and inquiries sent to our support email are retained for up to 12 months for customer service records.
7 Data & Account Deletion Requests (Google Play Policy Compliant)
🗑️ Right to Delete Your Data
In full compliance with Google Play's User Data & Account Deletion Policy, users have the right to request deletion of any personal data associated with their usage of Sudoku Solver.
How to request data deletion:

- Use the Subject line:

- Include any relevant details (such as your device model or approximate usage period) so we can assist you.
Upon receiving your request, we will verify your identity and permanently delete or anonymize any data from our systems within 30 calendar days, providing confirmation upon completion.
Immediate local data deletion:
- Android: Go to Settings → Apps → Sudoku Solver → Storage → Clear Storage / Clear Data.
- iOS: Uninstall and reinstall the App, or go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Sudoku Solver → Offload App / Delete App.
Resetting your Advertising ID:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID".
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable tracking for this app.
8 Children's Privacy (COPPA, GDPR-K & Families Policy Compliance)
Sudoku Solver is designed for children and families and participates in the Google Play Designed for Families program. We take children's privacy extremely seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), GDPR provisions for children (GDPR-K), and Google Play's Families Policy requirements.
Our commitments for child users:
- We do not knowingly collect, store, or transmit any personal information from children.
- The App does not require any account creation, login, name entry, or personal data input.
- All advertisements displayed are non-personalized and rated G (General Audiences) — no interest-based or behaviorally targeted ads are shown.
- All ad requests are tagged with child-directed treatment under COPPA.
- We use only Google-certified ad SDKs (Google AdMob) as required by the Families Policy.
- The App does not contain any social features, user-to-user communication, or external links that could expose children to unvetted content.
- All game data is processed and stored exclusively on the device — nothing is transmitted to remote servers.

10 Data Security Measures
We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification:
- All game logic and puzzle data are processed locally on your device — no game data is transmitted over the internet.
- Ad-related network communication uses encrypted protocols (HTTPS) as enforced by the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
- We do not operate any backend servers that store user data. The App is fully offline for core functionality.
- No persistent storage of unencrypted sensitive personal identifiers on our side.
However, please be aware that no system connected to the internet can guarantee 100% security, and users transmit data at their own risk.
11 Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates, changes in advertising practices, legal obligations, or service enhancements. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated "Effective Date".
